« Giving the feeling of being welcome in a wooden armchair », that's what Jean-Baptiste Sibertin-Blanc will attempt to impart to you as an experience, from October 28 to November 25, 2017 at the Granville Gallery in Paris.

Recently, the artist designed a tangy and resolutely modern textile floor covering for TecSOM. This partnership was born on the occasion of the Montenasu exhibition: a high-quality oak armchair whose elegance and purity seduce you immediately.

The exhibition will link both projects: wood furniture and textile flooring.

« In Japanese, Motenasu means welcome », emphasizes Jean-Baptiste Sibertin-Blanc, « but also be receptive ». Being receptive to the elegance of an object, the quality of the wood and nature in general, that is what has guided the designer throughout this project.
Complex, radical and graphic, Motenasu is also singularly fluid and sensual. Far from the industrial production whose arcanes Jean-Baptiste mastered perfectly, the Motenasu project marks a return to the roots for this initial education cabinetmaker (Ecole Boulle).

And because Jean-Baptiste Sibertin-Blanc always leads several projects at the same time, he also signs a unique design for TecSOM and is thus part of the legendary Private Collection of the french designer of textile flooring. The collection created by Jean-Baptiste Sibertin-Blanc is a contemporary and pungent creative work, both mysterious and bizarre.

A singular route inherited from two complementary trainings, cabinet maker and designer (Ensci - Les Ateliers) which gives to this artist a transverse vision of art and design.

Come and discover this beautiful exhibition!

The opening of the exhibition will take place on Saturday 28th of October from 15:00 to 20:00 with the presence of Jean-Baptiste Sibertin Blanc himself who will sign his book Jean-Baptiste Sibertin-Blanc designer recently published by Bernard Chauveau.
