TECSOM, A DIMENSIONAL STABILITY unique ON THE MARKET

With a dimensional stability of less than 0.10 %, TecSOM carpet tiles demonstrate unsurpassed performances in the textile flooring market.

It is a solution favored by many customers - construction companies, economists, prescribers and distributors - because it allows us to adopt a sustainable development approach that is both environmentally friendly and adapted to the requirements of the profession.

This exclusive technical process, TecSOM has deposited it under the name « BACKING SYSTEM », in addition to this exceptional stability, it imparts unprecedented flexibility and ease of cutting. Thus, the TecSOM tiles can be used in free-standing or with poise; and even after many years of use, they do not damage trimming and considerably limit the amount of waste at the end of life.

This advantage therefore constitutes a significant saving on the laying or laying time; but also on potential purchases of materials for patching processes which in the case of TecSOM tiles are not necessary. Added to this is the possibility of enhancing the use of Tecsom tiles through the OPTIMUM network's end-of-life product collection program.

In constant observation of regulatory developments and product health, such as the REACH (Regulation for the Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals in the European Union), the TecSOM R&D and Homologation Team ensure that chemicals that impact health and the environment are systematically removed and replaced.

Regularly controlled by its Quality, Safety and Environment departments, the TecSOM factory has been committed to guarantee manufacturing processes and a working environment in compliance with ISO 14001 (certified in 2000), ISO 9001 (certified in 1995) and OHSAS 18001 (certified in 2004).

TecSOM is the only French plant to hold these three certifications. On the other hand, many of its products are involved in obtaining HQE (High Environmental Quality) labels, LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), BREEAM (Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method).
