Tom Dixon is one of the most original British designers of his generation. From the 80s, he tries to exploit the ornamental potential of the recycled matters and his sculptural projects are quickly worth him a certain international fame. "Flesh" edited by the Italian company of furniture design Capellini is one of his first big successes. He worked with Habitat as an art director and after that he created his own firm, Tom Dixon Lighting to produce his lamps and furniture collections. His creations embody the new industrial spirit. They reflect the passion of the artist for rough materials, crafts, feature and robustness.
