Nestor Perkal is an architect graduate from Buenos Aires University in 1977. He is also a decorator, a scenographer, an exhibition commissioner, an art director and a furniture, objects and lamps designer. He launched in France the "New international design" movement throughout his gallery in Paris (1982-1994). Art director in Algorithm from 1987 till 1994 as well as the CRAFT in Limoges from 1993 till 2009, he spent these last years to design numerous exhibitions for private and public institutions in France and in many different countries. Among his recent interventions we can quote La Vie en Roses (Cartier Foundation for the Contemporary Art, Paris), Desirs d'objets (Museum of Contemporary Art of Rochechouart, Grand Hornu, Belgium), Editer the Design (Museum of Decorative Arts, Paris), Promenons-nous dans les bois (Museum of Decorative Arts, Paris). He collaborated with companies like Artcodif, Drimmer, Lou Fagotin and Véronèse. He works regularly with the Italian workshop Oscarmaschera.
