Jean Nouvel is a French architect, a urban planner and a scenographer born in 1945 with international fame. Architect of the Paris Biennial event from 1971, he establishes the Biennial event of architecture in this context in 1978. Among the many distinctions he received we can quote the Silver Square of money(silver) for the Institute of the Arab World of Paris and the Opera of Lyon, the commander's badge of the order of the Arts and Letters, the Golden lion of the Biennial event of Venice, the Golden medal of Royal Institute of British Architects, the Prize Borromini and the Praemium Imperial. Prolific and creative, he realized prestigious projects like the Quai Branly Museum in Paris, Fondation Cartier, the Museum of Reina Sofia in Madrid, the Guthrie Theater in Minneapolis, the Louvre of Abu Dhabi, el Centro del Mar y Le Havre Pool Complex.
